  • Implemented improvements to the YouTube iOS and Android applications as part of the YouTube Live Interaction Team and fully launched a new feature on all iOS Tablets worldwide (and went on to complete the same feature on Android).
    • Leveraged Objective-C, Java, Mobile Design Patterns, Object-Oriented Programing (OOP), and UI/UX skills.
    • Implemented Unit Tests and UI Tests to validate that all newly added features functioned as expected on a range of mobile devices and that no existing features had regressions.
  • Independently researched and developed multiple Design Documents that outlined planned changes, their impact on existing features, alternate solutions considered, and visual renderings of the proposed changes.
    • Worked to update and expand existing documentation for future developers to reference.
  • Learned how to leverage user data to assist in making decisions about the success of a new feature.
  • Researched accessibility on mobile devices and how to make products and services more accessible to all users.

  • Architected and developed a fully serverless AWS powered web application for a National Institute of Justice (NIJ) funded national research project. Reduced monthly estimated costs by 95% using serverless design patterns.
    • Leveraged AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, Cognito, DynamoDB, Serverless Application Model (SAM), CloudFormation, Amplify, S3, and CodeCommit.
  • Lead front-end web development on an ASP.NET Core powered website used by the FAA for data insights.
  • Leveraged C#, ASP.NET MVC, and Entity Framework to support both front- and back-end development of a project management website for the FAA using the Scrum Framework.
  • Developed a native iOS application for the FAA using Swift, SwiftUI, and Objective-C. Integrated the mobile application with existing databases, APIs, and authentication systems in use by the web version of the application.
